What Goes Into a Monthly Puja Kit
Roughly forty small things, checked by hand, so the shelf never runs empty mid-week.
A monthly kit is not one product. It is the running stock of a puja room, and the whole point is that you stop thinking about it.
The everyday things
Wicks and oil, because those go first. Kumkum, haldi, chandan and akshat. Camphor and a box of matches. Agarbatti. Loose supari and cloves. None of it is expensive on its own; the annoyance is remembering which one ran out.
Sized to the home
Lite suits one small altar and a short daily puja. Standard fits most families. Complete is for a household that lights a lamp morning and evening and has guests through the festival months. Buying the largest is not always the saving it looks like — samagri kept too long is worth nothing.
Checked before it is sealed
Every box is packed and looked over by hand. It is slower than a line, and it is the reason a missing item gets caught here rather than at six in the morning on the day you needed it.
What we leave out
Flowers and anything else that will not survive the journey. Those are worth buying fresh and local, and we would rather say so than send you something wilted.
